Z Biblioteki Ossus, polskiej encyklopedii ''Gwiezdnych wojen''.

Adventure Journal był to kwartalnik wydawany w Stanach Zjednoczonych w latach 1994 - 1997 przez West End Games. W magazynie były po raz pierwszy wydawane kanoniczne opowiadania z pośród których kilka lat później wybrano kilkadziesiąt które stworzyły Opowieści: z Imperium i z Nowej Republiki. Zostało wydanych piętnaście numerów, kolejne trzy zostały anulowane z powodu problemów finansowych West End Games. Poza opowiadaniami w magazynie były też części in-universe, materiały do gry Star Wars Roleplaying Game wydawanej przez WEG i artykuły na temat uniwersum Gwiezdnych wojen. Do trzech anulowanych numerów zamówiono opowiadania, z których niektóre napisano zanim ogłoszono zakończenie wydawania czasopisma. Większość z tych niepublikowanych opowiadań później wydrukowano w Opowieściach z Nowej Republiki.
